It makes us so happy to see our unique plush creations get adopted. Whether they are given as gifts or used to brighten up a special spot in someone’s home, we know they will be loved for years to come.
The establishment of our business came from re-imagining fabrics. Materials seem to speak to owner Jennifer D Burrell and beg for transformation into fun, hug-able characters. A wool coat calls out to be made into a teddy bear. Upholstery fabric turns into monsters. Socks become rabbits.
Jennifer’s path to success began with sewing doll clothes at a very young age. She felt very at home in graduate school Art studios studying all types of fiber manipulation from weaving to sculpting. Her style was, and continues to be, all about fun and color. After earning her MFA in Fiber Arts at the Savannah College of Art and Design, Jennifer worked in the theater making costumes. She spent years working at temporary jobs and participating in crafts shows. Now, as a small business owner, she is very appreciative of the support of friends, family and employees.
“The satisfaction and delight expressed to me by my customers and knowing my stuffed animals will be enjoyed by generations to come, are the reasons that I continue to pursue my dream.” Jennifer D Burrell
